VERSION FRANCAISE :

Le programme «1 heure, 1 expérience» de Sites & Cités se décline à l’échelle internationale avec «1 hour, 1 experience» à destination de l’ensemble du réseau de partenaires internationaux de l’Association. Pendant une heure, deux expériences – une française et une internationale – sont présentées, suivies d’un temps d’échange entre participants et intervenants. Ce programme est organisé avec le soutien du Ministère de l’Europe et des Affaires étrangères et du Ministère de la Culture.

Ouvert aux collectivités membres et aux partenaires internationaux, les sessions sont organisées en visioconférence (via Zoom) et un interprétariat français <> anglais est assuré.

La quatrième session a lieu le vendredi 15 octobre de 13h30 à 14h30 :

Patrimoine et événementiel

Objectif :

Comment le patrimoine peut être un cadre pour développer de l’événementiel et comment l’événementiel peut mettre en valeur le patrimoine ?

  • Jean-Paul GRIMAUD, Directeur de l’Office de Tourisme de la Communauté d’agglomération du Puy-en-Velay — France

 

 

Depuis 2013, le château baroque de Banffy accueille « Electric Castle », festival de musique électronique qui a remporté en 2019 le prix du meilleur festival de taille moyenne par les European Festivals Awards. L’événement, qui accueille 200 000 festivaliers, contribue directement au développement local tout en apportant des fonds pour l’entretien et à la restauration du monument historique. Et avec l’aide du Transylvanian Trust, le château a su diversifier ses activités tout au long de l’année, à travers des expositions, des événements ou encore des formations à la restauration du patrimoine.

Depuis cinq saisons, Le Puy-en-Velay, capitale européenne des Chemins de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, propose le spectacle “Puy de Lumières”. Les spectacles lumières, utilisant la technologie du mapping vidéo, sont gratuits et ouverts à tous les habitants et visiteurs. Le parcours urbain invite ainsi les publics à voir et vivre les patrimoines architecturaux, naturels et immatériels sous une nouvelle forme et à redécouvrir la ville nocturne avec neuf sites de projection.

ENGLISH VERSION :

Sites & Cités’ program “1 heure, 1 expérience” is expanded to the international scale with “1 hour 1 experience” aimed at the Association’s entire international network.
For one hour, two experiences – one French and one international – are presented and an exchange between participants and speakers will follow. This program is organised with the support of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture.

Open to the association’s members and international partners, the sessions are organised by videoconference and a French <> English interpreting is provided.

Heritage and events

Objective :

How heritage can be a framework to develop events and how events cancontribute to heritage promotion?

Since 2013, the baroque Banffy Castle has been hosting the “Electric Castle”, an electronic music festival that won the 2019 European Festivals Awards for the best medium-size festival. The event, bringing together 200 000 festival-goers, directly contributes to the local development while collecting fundings for the maintenance and restoration of the historic building. With the support of the Transylvanian Trust, the castle has managed to diversify its activities throughout the year, with exhibitions, events or heritage restoration training courses.

Since five seasons, Le Puy-en-Velay, European capital of the Roads of Santiago de Compostela, proposes the show « Puy de Lumières ». The light performances, using video mapping technology, are free and open to all inhabitants and visitors. The urban route invites the public to see and experience the architectural, natural and intangible heritage in a new way and to rediscover the city by night with nine projection sites.
